Everyone is invited to vote for their favorite playhouse through book donations, and all of the playhouses will be donated to deserving organizations.
"We feel extremely fortunate to participate in this great event," said Sharene Saito Tam, Asssistant Vice President of Haseko. "Our team has dedicated a lot of time in decorating the home, and we're excited to see the outpouring of support for the beneficity organizatons when it is on display."
Kahala Mall shoppers will be able to vote for their favorite playhouse by bringing in gently used or new children's books and placing them in a bin at their top selection by Sunday, July 31. The playhouse with the most donated books will be deemed the winner. A handful of organizations across O'ahu were selected as recipients of both the playhouses and the book donations. Haseko's playhouse will be donated to 'Ewa Beach Elementary School.
