Inaugural "Els Hoakalei Cup" Raises $80,000 for Charity

Hoakalei Country Club, home to Hawai'i's first Ernie Els-designed signature golf course, recently held its inaugural Els Hoakalei Cup charity tournament. A resounding success, the tournament raised $80,000 to benefit four national and local organizations, including Autism Speaks, Beautiful Son Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of Hawai'i Hale Pono 'Ewa Beach Clubhouse and James Campbell High School's Athletics Department.

"The inaugural Els was a great success, and we are so pleased to have raised so much money for four deserving charities," said Hoakalei Country Club Manager Mike Biscotti.  "This was a perfect way to celebrate the club's inauguralyear with what is sure to become one of Hawai'i's premier annual golfing events."

Major sponsors for this year's tournament include, Haseko, Central Pacific Bank, Delta Construction, KoKosing Construction and RM Towill Corporation.
