Haseko Training Fund Gives Center $50,000

The Haseko Training Fund gave the Construction Training Center of the Pacific a $50,000 grant to provide scholarships to ‘Ewa Beach residents interested in entering the building industry.

Graduates of the program are now on their way to better-paying jobs in the industry thanks to the Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training Program (PACT) at the center and the scholarships.

Haseko Project Manager Mark Kennedy is one of the many instructors involved with the PACT program, which offers students 160 hours of instruction on the basic principles of construction.

“Haseko believes in investing in the future of our community via the Haseko Training Fund,” said Haseko Construction Executive Vice President Adam Sutton. “And we support employees like Mark who go that extra mile to help others attain their dreams of a better life for themselves and their families and a rewarding career.”
