PACT Students get a Special Tour
The Building Industry Foundation received a $50,000 grant from the Haseko Training Fund in early 2007. The grant offers adults 18 and older in the Ewa Community an opportunity to participate in a pre-apprenticeship construction training project named ComPACT. Students enrolled in this program gain the necessary knowledge and job skils needed for an entry level positions in the construction industry.
As part of their training, the students were taken on a special site tour on Saturday, December 8, 2007. Led by Haseko's Mark Kennedy, students were instructed and shown the step-by-step process of building a home.
