Save our Site Fundraiser
'Ewa Beach Lions Club is working to preserve 'Ewa Beach's Weed and Seed site. The Lions' Save our Site campaign hopes to raise $75,000. Keeping 'Ewa Beach's designation as a Weed and Seed site provides additional police officers for our community, stiffer penalties for crimes committeed in the area, and keeps programs running that are helping 'Ewa Beach families. The first fundraiser put key area community members on a raised scaffold as a way to solicit donations at 'Ewa Beach Shopping Center. Haseko was able to provide bottles of water for thirsty event volunteers. The Haseko Training Fund also contributed $10,000 to 'Ewa Beach's Weed & Seed program.
