Oneula Beach Park's rugged coastline offers spectacular views of the city and Diamond Head, as well as prime surf spots and caches of limu, lobster and fish. But not everyone knows about this valuable resource.

Event organizers Kurt Fevella and Tesha Malama are hoping to change that with the 3rd annual Malama Oneula - Bash at the Bush.

With the help of sponsors like Haseko, the Bash is a completely free event providing food, fun and entertainment for the whole family. By showcasing the positive aspects of the park, Fevella and Malama hope people will help protect the park and discourage illegal dumpers, the homeless and the criminal element from trying to overtake this gem along the Ewa plain.

Headlining the entertainment this year is local favorite Kapena. The Ewa Beach Community Association and Ewa Beach Lions Club ran an easter egg hunt for keiki - who each received a goodie bag provided by Haseko. Volunteers and other sponsors helped provide easter baskets filled with goodies.

In addition to Haseko, sponsors included the Ewa Beach Community Association, Ewa Beach Lions Club, the Ewa Beach Community Trust Fund, Gentry and Parsons.
