Water Carnival Thrills Keiki Readers
Water Carnival

Avid keiki readers from ‘Ewa Beach Elementary School were thrilled to find their campus transformed into a water-fun carnival with splash slides, sprinklers and water games earlier this month. As part of the school's “25 Books Campaign,” several hundred students in kindergarten through 6th grade worked all year long to meet ambitious reading goals and earn a pass to the carnival. Haseko, developer of ‘Ewa Beach's Ocean Pointe community, chipped-in at the carnival with a few helping hands and a donation of over 1,400 servings of juice boxes and popcorn. Earlier in the year, Haseko also donated funds to purchase books and company representatives spent time in the classrooms reading to the children.
